Description The firefly ring is a contemporary take on a classic design. Hand forged in solid sterling silver and 18k gold. Classic hammered texture and antiquing gives it a rustic and timeless appeal that looks great on men or women. Fireflies have represented many things to many cultures throughout history- primarily hope, transformation, and the magic of the moment. Their light has been revered over the centuries as a symbol of guidance and an encouraging reminder to nurture and express our own inner light. 18k gold “firefly” flecks adorn the band and shimmer against the blackened silver in an organic and freeform pattern. The gold is not a plating, it is fused and forged permanently into the band. This ring is one of a kind, you will receive the exact one shown here in US Size 7 THE DETAILS -Band is US Size 7 -Rustic hammer forged solid sterling silver and 18k gold ring with classic hammered texture. Antiqued finish to bring out the contrast of the unique firefly design. -I start with solid 8 gauge sterling silver stock which gets hammer formed and shaped completely by hand into a band with it’s own unique rustic texture, no two are ever the same. After the hammer forming, it gets meticulously refined, filed and polished by hand, to ensure that it is absolutely comfortable to wear. -18k gold “firefly” flecks adorn the band and shimmer against the blackened silver in an organic and freeform pattern. The gold is not a plating, it is fused and forged permanently into the band. -This is a sturdy band, measuring 5.5mm width, and 1.5mm wall thickness (inside to outside). -Inside of band is stamped with my “KA” maker’s mark, .925 sterling silver hallmark, and 18k hallmark.
