Cartier Santos Man’s Automatic SS/18K YG ref 2961 circa 1980’s

An exceptional condition barely worn man’s Cartier Santos SS & 18K YG circa 1980s. This is the man’s size 29 x 39mm flat case design, and not the later curved case model. With 18K YG bezel secured by screws, sapphire crystal and signature blue cabochon sapphire crown. Featuring a classic white dial with Roman figures and blued steel hands in excellent condition. Powered by Cartier self winding movement with sweep seconds and quick set date. With flat link Santos bracelet with yellow gold screw accents and deployment clasp with gold double C Cartier logo. A fine condition example without any spidering of the gloss white dial common on these earlier models. The bracelet has been previously polished and shows some light surface scratches. Please note that this is the classic original circa 1980’s version with flat case and flat links, not the later so called Santos Galbé model with curved case back and curved bracelet links.
