ARTIST STATEMENT ABOUT THIS PIECE OF THE STUDIO This piece is part of an ongoing exploration of drip and ink techniques with a focus on negative space. Rather than filling the surface, I allowed the marks to move, pool, and breathe, letting the empty space play an active role in the composition. The drips and ink flows create a sense of motion and spontaneity, while the negative space offers balance and quiet. This work is rooted in experimentation and trust in the process, embracing unpredictability and allowing the piece to reveal itself as it unfolds.
